I Have Decided

I saw these words above me in black, bold letters as I woke up this morning. Immediately I was reminded of Josh. 24:15 “You must decide this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

I felt the encouragement of the Holy Spirit. “You can’t serve both God and the opinions of man. You can’t serve both God and religion. You can’t serve both God and money. You can’t serve both God and time. You can’t serve both God and convenience.”

“As you decide this day whom you will serve, I am releasing a spirit of holiness to those whose hearts are laid bare before me. Set your eyes on this one thing and I will pour out my glory in and through you.”

I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS!

His holiness changes us. His holiness shapes the way we operate and spend our time. His holiness infiltrates our homes and churches and it can no longer be business as usual.

Ps. 27:4 “One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.”

The enemy has tried to rob and steal from you through distraction, obstacles and unpleasantries but I see, like David, you refusing to engage with them and putting your eyes back no your assignment proclaiming, “Is there not a cause?!”

“Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 3:13-14

He’s coming and He’s moving among us in this season. If you’re all in, make the proclamation with me today, “I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS!”

Even as you do, He proclaims over you, “HOLY UNTO THE LORD.”
