The God of the Turnaround

For the last couple of mornings I have awoken with immense hope and great anticipation for the future. The bridge to the song Graves into Gardens has been resounding in my Spirit. It says:

You turn mourning to dancing
You give beauty for ashes
You turn shame into glory
You're the only one who can,

You turn graves into gardens
You turn bones into armies
You turn seas into highways
You're the only one who can.

I sense the God of the Turnaround is on the move and He is shifting things in your favour this day. He’s making roadways in the wilderness and highways in the dessert. He is STILL making a way for you even where there seems to be no way! He is making a way for the nations through this pandemic even where there seems to be no way.

He is clearing the airways and releasing supernatural strategy to governments, leaders and health organisations to bring and implement systems of change. Pray for your leaders and expect to see innovation and ideas that have quick and dramatic results that produce favourable results for the masses.

Romans 13:15 (TPT) “Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”

There is uncontainable joy and hope available for you today whatever difficulty you may be facing. I even sense the encouragement of the Father, as you trust in Him, to be found in praise before you see the breakthrough. Just like the father of the prodigal son who was watching while his son was still a long way off, the Father is inviting you to be filled with great expectation as you anticipate the turnaround He is bringing for whatever situation you’re facing today.

These are unusual days and even as we’re finding new ways of operating and introducing routines and familiarity within the unfamiliar, I hear His encouragement from the Word, “We have this hope an an anchor for our soul; firm and secure.” (Heb. 6:19)

“Hold onto hope!” I hear Him encourage you. “I am the God of the living, not of the dead. Don’t let this time of physical distancing and lockdowns define your days. I am the One who defines you. I am the One who makes your way straight and your path secure. I make roadways in the wilderness and will do it again for you. Don’t wish the days away - I still have a plan and a purpose for your life. Don’t tune out and let the hours pass by but respond to the invitations I lay before you daily. There are invitations to come into my presence and my love. There are invitations to realign your heart with my values and will for your life. Nothing is hidden from my sight and my plans to prosper and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future haven’t changed (Jer. 29:11). So don’t look away. Eyes up! Eyes on me! Eyes on the prize! I am the glory and the lifter of your head (Ps. 3:3) and your exceedingly great reward!” (Gen. 15:1)

In this season God is our only option. He is our only way through, over and out. His plans for your future have not changed. His promises for 2020 are still “yes and amen!”

“Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he is the one whom Timothy, Silas, and I have preached to you—and he has never been both a “yes” and a “no.” He has always been and always will be for us a resounding “YES!” For all of God’s promises find their “yes” of fulfilment in him. And as his “yes” and our “amen” ascend to God, we bring him glory! Now, it is God himself who has anointed us. And he is constantly strengthening both you and us in union with Christ.” 2 Cor. 1:19-21 (TPT)

I hear Him say, “I am entirely for you. I am on your side. I want to show you. I want you to see how I am still working on your behalf. I have given my word so you can be confident that it is done. I am bringing strength to you through your union with Christ and as you continue to believe and take me at my word, I will continue to strengthen your resolve until you walk into the land of those things promised.”

The Spirit of Resurrection!

I feel the Holy Spirit reminding you that the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you (Romans 8:11). You have access to infinite love, power and victory over death. Command and speak life into every difficult situation and circumstance. Christ in you has the solution!

I hear His encouragement, “Do not despair. Do not allow your tongue to come into agreement with the plans of the enemy. Do not allow your mind to move into doubt and unbelief. Instead, take up the whole armour of God and move into the offence. Be on guard and advance. You are to advance in this season. Do not retreat or even maintain your current ground. Instead forge ahead, forge ahead!”

I saw a picture of the enemy asleep at the wheel and heard the Father declare, “Now is the time to attack!” He is releasing angels at your disposal to cause you to advance into His promises for your life and that of your family.

“Remember who you are! You are not an orphan but I have brought you into my home and called you my own. Rule and reign using your authority in this season. Do not be complacent but advance. I am inviting you into the turnaround this day and will do exceedingly, abundantly beyond all you can ask, hope or imagine according to my power at work in you (Eph. 3:20). Only believe!"
