Reclaim The Nightlife

I sense in this season that there is a heightened awareness and increase of spiritual activity. I feel the Lord inviting us into this area, particularly in the night.

“Come away with me in the night. I want to own your night hours and reclaim your night life. Seize the day by giving me your night. Let your evenings be drenched in my love and may your sleep be filled with the knowledge of my glory.”

“I want to invade that space and commune with you, day and night. Go to bed with an expectation for good. There are encounters for you - dreams, visions and spiritual adventures awaiting you. Surrender your nightlife to me and expect to see me move into and invade that space.”

“Though I sleep my heart is awake.” Song of Solomon 5:2 “I have designed you to partake in constant communion with me. Do not limit me to your waking hours alone. I own the day and I own the night. And I want you to know my glory in both.”

“There’s room for one more! Let my Holy Spirit come and abide with you so that you may know no separation between us - that’s the reality I paid for and want you to experience it in its fullness.”

Breakthrough Through Rest

As I was praying into this I heard the words of a Disney song, “We’re soaring, flying, there’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach…now’s the time, we’re breaking free.” I sensed there are many who’ve been contending for breakthrough and you are going experience it through rest! Yes! It’s going to be easy! You will awake in a new space - there’s a new level of breakthrough and authority He has for you. Now’s the time to enter into the breakthrough He has prepared for you.

Dreams

I sense there are some who feel they rarely dream or that when they do, it’s confusing or doesn’t make sense. But I feel the encouragement of the Father, “I desire to know you in this season. Come experience a facet of me that perhaps you’re less familiar with. It’s my good pleasure to give this gift to you. Expect to receive insight and understanding, blueprints and creative ideas, solutions and innovation. You have access to infinite knowledge and power and it is my desire to share it with you.”

The New Day

In this unique time there are many things vying for our attention but I hear His encouragement, “Turn your attention towards me. Make provisions for the day ahead by communing with me in the evening. Set up habits and sow seeds in this time that will reap fruit in the season to come.”

As He pours His spirit upon you, I sense many will look back at this season with much fondness. That is not to downplay the difficulties and losses people are experiencing but it is to remind you that He promises to make all things work together for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28). There is an opportunity for great fruitfulness and life to come forth for you as He is divinely re-setting us and re-positioning our hearts towards Him.

I encourage you as you go to sleep this evening, position your heart to receive from the Holy Spirit. Through prayer, invite Him in to invade your sleep with His glory. Be expectant, be intentional by setting your mind on things above. Be ready to make note of the things He says and reveals. Write them down and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal mysteries to you. He longs to meet with you.
